To prevent dirt from accumulating, it is smart to regularly pat out or vacuum your jute rug. Preferably at least twice a week. Is it stained? Then make sure you remove it as soon as possible with a little water and a soft brush. Once a stain has set in, it is difficult to remove. Do not use aggressive detergents for jute.
