Many rugs only have a chenille look and are not actually woven this way. This is because chenille weaving is a more intensive and ‘pricey’ process than a simple machine weave.

The rugs are made of 100% cotton and have a pleasing thickness. Because the rugs are finished by hand, you get a unique rug every time. The rugs are generally quite straight but it is never as tight as a machine-woven rug. This free look therefore gives the rug a real vintage feel.
