The most famous form of natural rugs is probably the wool rug. This wool rug used to be something almost everyone had in their home. Rugs made 100% of wool are usually made of sheep’s wool. New trend: jute rugs

Rugs made of fibre, so-called Jute rugs, are a trend to pull off a cool look in your home. Jute is a different type of fibre from sisal: it has a strong feel. The material gets a robust finish when the fibres are tied together. One similarity between sisal and jute: its abrasion resistance.
