80×300 cm rugs: a nice detail in any room

Having an 80×300 cm rug in your home shows that you have an eye for detail. This beautiful size runner makes for a grand entrance for your guests, can beautifully connect two spaces, and brings a fresh new look to any room.

To give a room a new look, you do not need to empty your bank account to buy all new furniture. By laying down a runner, you can give any room a completely different look in one fell swoop. A runner is cheaper.

A 80×300 cm rug or a bit longer?

These runners are 80×300 cm, but we also have larger and smaller versions. Take a look at the runners of 80×200 or choose the largest size: 80×500 cm. By the way, if you’re looking for a large rug for your home in a different shape than usual, you can also browse our large selection of round rugs and square rugs.

Easy vacuuming an 80×300 rug

Ok, back to runners for a moment because that’s why you’re here. There are high-pile and low-pile runners to be found on our website. The high-pile versions are nice and warm and soft, and sand and other dirt can be easily patted out. The low-pile versions are in the majority, these are easy to vacuum and patterns stand out particularly well. Because an 80×300 cm rug is often laid in the hallway, a low-pile rug is a better choice (tripping hazards).

To prevent your runner from sliding on the floor and tripping over it, it’s smart to add an anti-slip underlay to your order. You can cut these thin underlays to size yourself and ensure that your runner stays firmly in place. As this means the carpet slides less on the floor, there is also less chance of the fibres wearing out. You can also lay two or three in a row, which is handy with a long runner.

There is plenty of choice of runners, so feel free to browse the site and if you have any questions, drop us a line.
